Rice Dumpling Festival - 31 May 2008
Zone 'C' RC organised a Rice Dumpling Festival on 31st May 2008 at Block 807 Residents' Corner. This is an annual
festival celebrated by all Chinese and rice dumpling is commonly consumed as part of the celebration. The event attracted
about 130 residents and the interesting highlight is to learn how to make rice dumpling. Mr James Wong, vice-Chairman,
Nee Soon South CCC, was the guest-of-honour for the event. He presented prizes to many delighted resdients during the
lucky draw.

Hotmeal - 4 May 2008
Zone 'C' RC organises hotmeal for the needy residents on every first Sunday of the month. A total of about 50
residents gathered to enjoy a hotmeal sponsored by generous donors. Some highlights of the meal include games,
karaoke singing, catered food and a cake to celebrate those residents whose birthday falls on the same month.

Tanjung Pinang - Bonding Away from Home on 2 - 3 June 2007
A group of residents from NSS Zone 'C' RC embarked on a 2 day tour of Tanjung Pinang and invited Er Lee Bee Wah to join them for a time rescinding adventure and taking a break from the maddening crowd; and wow, it works wonders with their hearts and souls.
 The group took off from the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and already, were eager to know their traveling mates better through self introduction. The nostalgic and throw back sights reminded the group of Singapore in its early pioneer years of a nestled fishing village with kampongs and most things simple; made the group realize how rapidly indeed our Nation has progressed and modernized.
