Nee Soon South Zone 'A' Resident Committee

Nee Soon South RC Zone A was first set up in 1987 and was then part of Nee Soon RC Zone Q, where Dr Koh Lip Lin was serving as the first advisor. In 1988, with the re-drawing of district lines, RC Zone A' came under Nee Soon Central and was known as Nee Soon Central District 3' where Mr Ng Pock Too served as the advisor. Mr Ng subsequently handed over the position to Mr Ong Ah Heng who served as the advisor up to 1997.
In 1997, the district lines were once again re-drawn and the RC was incorporated as part of Ang Mo Kio GRC. It was then renamed Nee Soon South RC Zone A', under the advisory of Dr Tan Boon Wan, PBM. In 2006, Dr Tan handed over the advisory post to Engineer Lee Bee Wah.
In 2006 and 2007, RC Zone A was awarded the People's Association performance grading of 4 stars.

The hot meal distribution is held on one Sunday of every month from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
Anybody who wishes

In addition to the usual vegetable distribution, Mr Lee from Yishun Town Council sponsored 100 packets of rice to the needy and senior residents from Nee Soon South. In this heartwarming event, the Leo Club from Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School also participated in distributing food rations sponsored by the Lions' Club (Yishun).
Ren Ai Free Traditional Chinese Medicine (Consultation & Treatment) @ Blk 718 Yishun St 71 (Senior Citizens Corner)
This is a project brought to you by Nee Soon South Zone A RC, Springleaf NC and Ren Ai Traditional Chinese Medicine Consultation Centre.
This service is open to all residents. Our objective is to provide free Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment to the sick and financially disadvantaged, regardless of race and religion. Ren Ai Traditional Chinese Medicine Consultation Centre will provide certified and professional Chinese physicians and free medicine.
The opening ceremony of the TCM centre took place on Sunday, 4 Feb 2007. The TCM centre is open for consultation every Monday and Thursday from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
