Nee Soon South IRCC was formed to promote understanding, trust and respect among different races and religions and to respond quickly to incidents with racial and religious undertones during a crisis. During peacetime, we foster friendships and build trust in the community and during crisis with racial and religious overtones, we will disseminate timely and accurate information to all religious institutions in the division, to sooth and minimise the communal tension so as to restore and maintain confidence in our community.

The MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC, Er Lee Bee Wah is the Adviser to IRCC. Since our formation, we have embarked on a series of trust building and community bonding activities amongst our community leaders and the residents in our division. Some of these activities are organized by the IRCC alone while many other activities are jointly organized with the grassroots, civics and religious organizations in the division with the purpose of pooling resources together, achieving synergy and reaching out to the masses in Nee Soon South Division.

The launch of this IRCC webpage is another initiative embarked by the IRCC to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures, races and religion amongst the different ethnic communities in our multi-racial society. The content of this webpage will be refreshing, interesting and exciting. Every month, there will be a main theme and focus on the different cultures, religions, belief and practices and it will change according to the festive and cultures that prevail in the particular month.

We strive to make this webpage a meaningful, informative and enriching one for all our website browsers.
